Oh well. Since I noticed the packaged gyoza at Billa, I've been craving exactly that, so I looked for places nearby that have high ratings and offer gyoza. So we went to “Gyoza” without further ado, assuming that the dish that gave it its name would definitely be delicious. Unfortunately I was disappointed. I've eaten a lot of gyoza and often cooked it myself, so I was very suspicious that they went into the deep fryer. I wanted to be unbiased, so I took it with me and ate it about 5 minutes later. I only know gyoza steamed/boiled and then fried until crispy on the bottom. The frying made them greasy and dry. The filling was far too ginger-heavy for my taste and the dip was not the mixture of black vinegar and soy sauce, but the typical, sweet chili sauce. The service wasn't friendly but not unfriendly either, the waiting time was ok. It may be that other dishes are better, but I expected more from the dish that gave it its name. A pity!
