In a town with many over priced tourist centric spots, and in a town with many places claiming to have southern food, H & R Sweet Shop is affordable and legit. This is Soul Food. I was raised on Soul food. This is the real deal. And I had the best cup of sweet tea I've ever had in my life. Small shop with a big heart. Go there now! Vegetarian options: They prepared a vegetarian dish especially for me when I told them I didn't eat meat. Thank you! Kid-friendliness: Great food and plenty of treats in the store too. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20
