HIDE Such a nice place with a great atmosphere, but unfortunately, the service was not good at all. We ordered two glasses of gin and one vodka, but there was hardly any taste of alcohol. In the gin, you could taste only tonic, and in the vodka, it tasted more like Sprite than vodka. Honestly, this is very disappointing. People are paying for alcoholic drinks, not just soda or mixers. I really liked the place, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back again. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: QAR 300–350

We checked out High Nightclub at the InterContinental, arriving around 11 PM and leaving around 1 AM. It was fairly quiet when we arrived, but interestingly, there was still a long lineup to get in when we left. The ratio of men to women was probably around 10 to 1, although it seemed a little more balanced in the VIP section. Overall, the night left a lot to be desired for me. The music was OK, the drinks were OK and the service was actually pretty good, but the overall atmosphere just wasn’t really my vibe. If you’re used to nightlife in Europe or North America, it’s definitely a different experience, which is somewhat to be expected in Qatar. I don’t personally drink, so experiencing a nightclub completely sober is always a little interesting and probably makes me much more aware of everything happening around me. They also keep the club VERY cold, which I actually appreciated once it got busier. Nothing was particularly terrible, but nothing really stood out either. I’m glad we checked it out, but overall, it’s probably just not for me. Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2 Price per person: QAR 500+
