Visited HOJA Mi-Sua in the evening following a glowing recommendation from a Taiwanese colleague who vouches for its authenticity, and it completely lived up to the hype! Located inside First Markham Place, the restaurant immediately stands out for its excellent ambiance, great vibe, and pristine cleanliness. While the menu options are a bit slim, the outstanding food quality more than makes up for it. We ordered a feast of classic dishes: *Crisp Crunch Lo-Bah-Png with Braised Egg *Lo-Bah-Png with Intestine and Taiwanese Sausage *Mi-Sua with Taiwanese Fried Basil Popcorn Chicken *Crispy Braised Pork Knuckle Rice – This was hands-down the absolute star of the night! Incredibly tender on the inside with a perfect crispy exterior. A must-order! We wrapped up our meal with the Shaved Ice Tofu Pudding for dessert, which was the perfect, refreshing end to a fantastic dinner. Everything tasted amazing and was executed beautifully. We absolutely loved our time here, and we can’t wait to come back and try even more of the menu. Highly recommended.
