This was my first time visiting an establishment of this type. Most common seating is for parties of 4, but there are also 2-top tables. We chose the all-you-can-eat option, and 90 minutes is the time frame allowed. That was plenty of time. Each ers9n gets their own hot-pot of boiling broth and their own grillplate. Food is served family style, and there is no limit of ingredients that may be ordered. The only limitation is table space, but the staff is good at removing empty serving pieces to make room. Ordering is done using an iPad-type of device. It's easy to use, and the menu shows pictures of each item. There are several broths to choose from. My son chose the house broth, his wife chose a spicy one, and I chose a mushroom one. There are lots of meats, vegetables, sides, sweet items, and beverages. The staff was friendly and responsive. They appeared at our table each time we were unsure or needed assistance. At the end of our time, our server gave each of us a small cup of tasty ice cream. It was a fun experience, and hopefully not the only time we will stop in at Howpot. Thank you for a wonderful time! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $30–40 Recommended dishes: All You Can Eat, Hot Pot and kbbq, Hotpot Sauce and Condiment Bar, Dumplings, Fried Food, Assorted Mushrooms and Fish Cakes, Korean Style Marinated Beef Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Paid parking lot Parking: There are two paid parking lots close by: one across the street and one next to the building. I parked at the one next to the building. Pay using a cell phone. 2 hours was $14 on a Saturday. Kid-friendliness: I'm sure the staff would be friendly toward children, but this restaurant is best suited for 12 and up because of the nature of dining style. It's a smaller space, and young children are not usually patient. This place is for very leisurely enjoying a meal.
