Ordered the chicken shawarma plate/platter. The chicken was not seasoned well and was tasteless. The ricewell that is hard to mess up. The hummus was dilutedseemed watered down?? the pita was ok. not a good experience. Hopefully it was just a bad day. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

I'm Armenian and moved to Central Oregon 2.5 years ago from Southern California and was feeling very isolated and without my culture and the food I craved. We took a family trip to Portland recently and were recommended Habibi Restaurant. Not only did it meet my expectations but it felt like HOME. The food was just as incredible as you could find in LA and the server/owner who was Syrian went out of his way to get to know us and even spoke Armenian with me. We ordered a Mezza plate with everything made from scratch, it was wonderful. The ground beef and chicken kebabs were juicy and the rice was buttery perfection. Thank you for giving me back a little piece of my old life! Wishing you much success, and may you open a second location in Bend one day ;) Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
