The Yemeni cuisine is good at this restaurant. The cooks here prepare tasty mandi and good lamb. Guests don't highly appreciate tea at Hadramowt.

The creative staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place great. The spectacular service displays a high level of quality at this place. From the visitors' viewpoint, prices are low. You will certainly like the peaceful atmosphere and modern decor. But this spot hasn't gained a high rating from Google users.

Very poor experience from start to finish. We waited around 40 minutes just for drinks, and even then one was forgotten. The menu is already limited, but several items were unavailable, leaving very few choices. When the food arrived, it was first served to the wrong table. One of the plates was then taken back (after being at another table) and brought over to us, which is completely unacceptable from a hygiene perspective. The food itself was disappointing — both the lamb and chicken were dry, and the rice was inconsistent, with some parts hot and others cold, suggesting poor preparation. Overall, this felt like a combination of disorganisation, lack of basic service standards, and poor food quality. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t return. I came to Hadramout absolutely starving and left feeling like I’d completed an emotional endurance challenge. There were six of us, and somehow we managed to wait over an hour for food while also playing a fun little game called “Guess Which Drinks Will Never Arrive.” The lamb deserves a special mention. I didn’t know it was possible to overcook meat to the point where it develops the texture of a flip-flop left on a barbecue, but congratulations to the chef for pushing culinary science forward. Every bite tasted like burnt rubber seasoned with disappointment. The rice? Imagine if someone whispered the word “salt” from another room and called it seasoning. That’s the flavour profile we were dealing with. I was so hungry when I walked in that I could’ve eaten the table decorations. But after one bite of the lamb, my appetite packed its bags, handed in its resignation, and left the building. I genuinely felt too emotionally exhausted to continue eating. The best part of the evening was getting the bill, because it meant the experience was finally over. Never thought paying money would feel like sweet relief. One star only because Google won’t let me give zero.I came to Hadramout absolutely starving and left feeling like I’d completed an emotional endurance challenge. Hadramowt is hands down the best restaurant in Cardiff for mandi lovers! The food is rich in flavor, authentic, and incredibly affordable. It's the perfect place to enjoy a meal with friends and family. I've been here many times, and not once have I been disappointed. Highly recommended!
