Chinese cuisine is recommended to degust at this restaurant. At Hakka No. 1, guests can have good chilli chicken, fried chicken and fish. This place is suitable for visitors who have supper in a hurry because they can order dishes as a takeout. A number of reviewers find the staff terrific. Service at this spot is something one can call nice. Many people suppose that the dishes are offered for reasonable prices. Enjoy the charming atmosphere here. But this restaurant hasn't achieved a high rating from Google users.

This is seriously my ALL TIME FAVOURITE HAKKA PLACE! Prices are great and the food is AMAZING ! Flavours hit the spot that I'd order once a week. Because I ordered quite often I started trying all the other fish dishes and my fave is the Chili Fish. They literally all look the same and some taste similar. They moved this location just to the plaza towards Islington so I'm just waiting for them to reopen so I can continue trying out everything else. But seriously flavours hit like no other spot I've tried. It's so delicious and rich! Meat is always soft and tender super hot even after takeout or Ubereats/SkipTheDishes. And they always pack my fave Shanghai Noodles which always leaves me with lunch the next day! LOL! 100% Recommend!

Doesn't look like much from the outside...but food was OK. Warning!!! don't visit the Washroom before you eat....you will lose your appetite. The other complaint I have is that the Sneaky Buggers, add a "service charge" to the bill without telling you. I ate and then went up to pay the bill...I added an extra 15% as tip and was about to walk out, but I realized what I paid didn't seem right, So I went back and asked for a receipt. I then noticed this "service charge" added to the bill. I ended up paying a tip of about 30 - 40% because of their sneaky underhanded way of doing business. I would not go back here again. When I had gone back to get the receipt I took a peek inside the kitchen and it looked untidy.
