Highest quality restaurant, Michelin-style Izakaya or Japanese "tapas" style may be closest to describe the style. Incredibly fast, high quality fish/meat options. Vegetarian options also included. Google translate is needed for the menu, or Japanese skills. But well worth it, we ordered through half the menu and each dish better than last. Sashishi mix, miso-cheese, wagyu beef, Dishes are very affordable, most are 3-4 bite size portions, but some soups/soba/pork/wagyu are a decent bite more. Still, expect to order several items for 500-1.5k yen at most, per piece. Incredibly high value-for-monet at high standard. Price per person: ¥3,000–4,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I had the pleasure of dining at Hakojiro in June 2025 with my wife thanks to her strong recommendation. We both enjoyed it very much. Freshness, quality and food taste are of the highest quality. Master chef’s abilities cannot be measured in words - firsthand experience is the only way to understand. We hope to go again early next year.
