It was a long drive into Siricusa from Piazza Armerina. We lost our way and it was around 11 p.m. by the time we reached our hotel and were fearful that it was too late to find a place to eat. The desk recommended we try Hakuna Matata. Having visited Africa we were intrigued. Although it was late the brothers were very welcoming and set to work making us the most magnificent double pizza in a fantastic oven. We had promised ourselves that one thing we would not eat anywhere in Italy was pizza. However, this was the most elegant and BEST pizza we had eaten anywhere in the world... And served with warmth and hospitality. This was in October, 2014 and we are sorry it has taken us so long to publicly express our appreciation! We are from New Delhi, India.We hope to visit again with the whole family. Thank you.Viney & Linnet

Absolutely terrible! We went in at 8:30pm with a reservation and got our food literally 3 hours later and I'm not exaggerating when I say this. Honestly the food was horrible. I was supposed to have cherry tomatoes and eggplants with my pasta but it was just pasta and cheese. Save your money and STAY AWAY from this place. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SERVICE!
