Got the combo platter. The chicken was good, but it could have a bit more flavor . The lamb was excellent. The pricing was great as well, you really can’t beat $12. Customer service was amazing too. The owner was a brother from Yemen and ran a fantastic story. They also have dine-in seating available, and also the ambiance was very pleasant. Well needed halal spot in the uptown area! I am currently doing laundry next door and decided to grab some lunch. The place is super clean and gives off a welcoming vibe. I met Chef O who educated me on the dishes on the menu. I learned that this a family chain from New York which made me even more intrigued. New York got some good dishes. I like that they have a variety of dishes to choose from. I had decided to purchased the chicken over rice. I must say it was a good choice. The food wasn't heavy on my stomach, generous portion sizes, and affordable. I would come back again.
