Back for a second visit and it didn’t disappoint. The scallops were delicious and beautifully presented. The samosa chaat was spot on with great flavors, and the pakodas were crispy and tasty. The butter chicken was rich and flavorful, paired perfectly with the garlic naan. Another enjoyable meal with consistently good food. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

A gem! A family-run bistro offering innovative Indian cooking (based on strong classical roots) within a calm and intimate environment. Showcasing some excellent dishes from various regions of India. The service is courteous, knowledgeable and welcoming. The bistro is small (it would be wise to book in advance, especially in the evenings.) Tables are modern, with fresh flowers and tea lights, and subtle lighting. Clean and simple. The food is expertly prepared and cooked - careful spicing and garnishes to make individual dishes zing. I loved the richness of a spring lamb dish served with perfect garlic naan, rice and dal. My companion loved the tandoori Poussin. The table beside us were waxing lyrically about the biriani and peshawari naan. Good selection of wines and drinks. We opted for Indian beer. A truly enjoyable meal.
