Friendly local pub. Indoor and outdoor seating. Fresh beer. Harvey’s Best is excellent. Food is good quality. Good stop on circular walk around Ardingly Reservoir. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I’ve visited a few times over the past few weeks on various rambles, as a family group and with a friend. Each time we’ve had a great lunch and they have a brilliant variety on tap. The blonde lady behind the bar was lovely chatting away with my 6yr old daughter about our walk too. Last time we were in was a Sunday and the roasts coming out looked incredible, so we’re already planning to go back on a Sunday soon for one of them! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
