Here you will be offered good pizza, burgers and steaks. Delicious ale is a decent choice. You can listen to live music in the evening. The energetic staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. Service at this bar is something one can call prompt. A lot of people mention that the dishes have average prices. I attended my daughter's wedding reception at The Half Moon pub and was very impressed. The venue is in a lovely location, and the separate conservatory room provided a beautiful setting for such a special occasion. The table arrangements looked lovely, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all the guests. The food was excellent, and the staff were kind, friendly, and attentive throughout the event. Everything ran smoothly, and it was clear that the team at The Half Moon takes great pride in what they do. Thank you for helping to make my daughter's wedding day so memorable. Highly recommended.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at The Half Moon and it was the best day ever! I knew from the moment I first stepped into the pub that it was going to be the perfect spot for our small, intimate wedding reception - and it only got better from there. The staff (especially Wayne) were super helpful in the planning process, had great suggestions and were also happy to make all our ideas happen. They have a great network and could suggest other vendors to help with anything we needed. I didn’t expect too much as I didn’t ask for it - we were going to have dinner in the conservatory and it’s already a stunning spot - but when I first entered the room all done up for us my heart skipped a beat a little. They have put so much effort into the decorations, they have managed to create the dream I didn’t know I had. The food was amazing, and everything came out at the same time for all 25 people! Based on the seating chart and the menu choices they knew what to give to which person and everything went extremely smoothly, we were all very impressed. They also provided a sound system for the dancing part of the night, and later put up the most amazing collection of evening snacks for us I’ve ever seen! My husband and I are super grateful for making our wedding day the most special day of our lives, and would also like to thank the staff for the signed card and the bottle of bubbly they gifted us with
