We visited Szörf Bisztró yesterday while out for a walk in Tata and decided to stop by for lunch. The food was definitely the highlight – fresh, tasty, and served in generous portions. We had the classic fried cheese with fries and some 'hekk', and although I didn’t get a chance to snap pictures of everything, it was all really enjoyable. However, the experience was let down by the service. Unfortunately, the attitude of the cashier was quite rude – not just towards us but also to the people ahead of us in line. I understand anyone can have a bad day, but based on other reviews, this seems to be a recurring issue. It was a very "Hungarian" kind of hospitality – and I say that as a local, with a bit of regret. It’s a shame that this kind of behaviour is what tourists might remember when they visit places like this. In short: great food in a lovely location, a bit pricey (understandably due to the setting), but the customer service could really use some improvement. Brace yourself before walking in, and hopefully you'll be lucky with the mood of the staff that day. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
