This restaurant/bar is definitely something special. The menu depends on whatever the owner could get for the day. The dishes are simple but super delicious! And the owner makes the entire experience whole. As a single traveler, you definitely can have a good time. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The absolute fun drinking and talking place, the best petit izakaya bar in the local bar-crawlers’ golden bar-hopping route in Daitabashi. I do not deny that the initial entry and breaking ice first minutes can be somewhat a little energy taking, but, the resourceful bar owner, Mr Hamasan, and his friend regulars are nothing but welcoming with witty talks and fresh beverages, letting alone its speciality menu, the authentic various flavoured Takoyaki (octopus dumplings) dishes. Regarding Takoyaki, which tastes great as one of Japanese nostalgic downtown and festival day snack, early time ordering may be recommended before the bar gets really crowded, seems as always, with regulars and newbies inside, and out (they’re standing!). The place opens at 6pm, the atmosphere is getting really hot and merry as hours go by. The regulars hold their subscribed-like purchased bottles here, but yet-to-regular comers can have a good time pleasantly reasonable as long as you behave well. Be sure to bring cash, though not necessarily big but with you, when you are hopping little bars here in the town centre alley. Also needed to know that, including the best Hamasan, these izakaya bars mostly get very full with just ten clients or less. Now then, bring yourself or with your best friend or partner and dive DCUI (Drinking and Chatting Under the Influence) into this tiny little but heartwarming deep world for once! or twice!!
