Had a fantastic reminisce at the Hampshire Bowman, at 18 years of age I joined the Army based in Bulford Wiltshire, so not too far to hitchhike in those days down to the Bowman ran by my father (I was born Jan 1954, you do the sums), met Tim Park, Mary, David and Mark the Landlord, chatted to Tim and Mary reminiscing about Stan Montague who renamed and ran the Bowman from early 70's to 80 if memory serves me, it was a pleasure to chat and meet some new friends, hope to be back ASAP, oh, and still a great country pub, unspoilt, a pub as it should be, a "proper" British Pub not only worth a visit, worth a detour! Brilliant very happy
