The food, experience, and atmosphere here at the Hamwatan Kitchen was more than amazing! The food was divine. The meat was literally dripping in juice, and everything, from the Bolani to the Kabli Palau and the Afghan Burger was made fresh and hot. Plus the portions were genuinely huge, like generously big. The service was also great. Sure, the waiting time was a bit long, but if it means getting food this tasty, it's worth it. The environment here was mostly clean. It's outdoor seating only so there will be bugs flying around, but honestly what do you expect? It's outside. Keep in mind this place is cash-only, so make sure you have some cash on you. Overall, this place feels like I'm genuinely eating as if I was in Afghanistan. Truly local and delicious food. Would definitely recommend to anyone passing by.
