Unfortunately, our experience at Hanin Restaurant got off to a very unpleasant start. The moment we walked in, there was a cockroach inside the restaurant, and we actually ended up helping the staff get rid of it. The waitress repeatedly apologized and explained that it had come in from the street rather than from the restaurant, although, understandably, we weren’t completely convinced. Since we had come all the way to try their food, we decided to stay. The lunch menu has also increased from €14 to €17 this year, and at the new price, I’m honestly not sure it’s worth it anymore. The appetizer portion was quite small, and the wine tasted very watered down. The main dishes were good overall, but compared with other Korean restaurants in Barcelona, I didn’t find the food particularly memorable or distinctive. Perhaps we just caught them on an off day, but considering the price increase and the overall experience, I expected more. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
