The wife wanted ramen, I wanted curry. What's the solution? Hanabi Ramen and Japanese curry! Thanks to this place, we both got what we wanted! It's too bad Alameda doesn't have a place like this or I would come every week. It seems like the best Japanese food still resides on the peninsula. But coming here was def worth the drive. Here's what we got: Takoyaki came out hot with the squid flakes moving Ma-Yu ramen was nicely flavored and ramen was good with the eggs Katsu curry very tastey and katsu was nicely breaded and crunchy Tai-yaki nice little red bean treat All the food tasted fresh, authentic, and tastey. the bill came out to be around $45 a bit steep but it is what it is. I'll be back!
