Stumbled upon this place while walking in Ginza. Have multiple size options which is very nice. Their tantanmen is really goood if you enjoy sesame flavor. Their rich broth is also nice Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A satisfying udon spot. It’s located in the basement level, just a short walk down the stairs from the building entrance. I ordered the curry udon, which was rich, thick, and full of depth. The sauce coated the chewy udon noodles perfectly, soft yet with a nice bite. A comforting bowl can easily finish without feeling too heavy. I also added a few sides including tempura and oden (tofu and egg). The tempura was light and crispy, while the oden was nicely soaked in broth and very flavorful. It’s a self-service style. Get a tray, order udon, then pick your own tempura or oden along the way before paying, very efficient and easy to follow. They accept both credit card and cash. My order ¥1,540 in total, including Oden Egg ¥150 Oden Fried Tofu (Atsuage) ¥160 Chikuwa Isobe Tempura (seaweed-flavored fish cake) ¥130 Small Curry Udon ¥680 (The Curry is mixed and cooked with beef) Chicken Tempura ¥200 Pickled Ginger Tempura Skewer ¥220 There’s also a self-serve condiment and water station where you can add green onions, tempura bits (tenkasu), sesame, and other seasonings to your liking. It’s a nice touch that lets you customize your bowl freely. They also have soy sauce and chili powder already set on the tables. After finishing your meal, you simply return your tray to the designated area near the cashier. Seating is simple and the dining area is clean, people come in, eat quickly, and head out. Very local, very real. Service was efficient and very friendly. Not fancy, but delicious, affordable, and a great way to experience casual Japanese dining culture. Meal type: Other Food: 5 Service: 5

Hanamaru Udon is my will-go-to-place for our breakfast when in Japan. Fast service. Had a simple and yet delicious meal before heading out to explore the city.
