If you want to remember Tjuvholmen Neighbourhood, come to this restaurant first. Carpe diem – the Japanese cuisine waits for you. In accordance with the visitors' opinions, waiters serve tasty nigiri, black cod and tuna sashimi here. You can always try good ice cream, meringues and parfait - a special offer of Hanami. hot kitchen is excelent, karaage and black cod were very nice. however, the sushi bar needs some improvement. rice was excessive, clumpy and cold. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: kr 1,000+

We went to Hanami this July. The service and atmosphere were excellent. So, i'll just go straight to our food experience there. Firstly, when we asked for a tasting menu, the waitress said they didn't have a formally printed one. She explained that they offered a 'surprise menu' featuring courses selected by the chef, similar to a tasting menu. We assumed it would be a fixed-price menu, but it turned out we were charged for each course separately. However, this was an acceptable miscommunication (which could have been my fault), so no big deal. As for the food, i'll put down 4 names here and explain why why these courses didn't meet expectations. You can also see them in the photos. - Broccolini: A total disappointment. This course was so mediocre that my homemade version would taste better. And i have made it many times. - Wagyu Mini Burger: If I recall correctly, it contained wagyu beef, fish (not sure what kind), and caviar. Individually, each component was top-tier, but cramming the best of everything into one bite resulted in an empty taste. - Black Cod: Too sweet. Was it a dessert ? - Hanami Choux: Newly taken out of the freezer. Both the choux base and the topping cream were rock-hard that i could've used the whole thing to smash someone's head open. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: kr 1,000+ Vegetarian options: Who goes to a sashimi / sushi restaurant for vegeterian and vegan food ? Dietary restrictions: I didn't check it, maybe you can ask the staff there. Actually they asked us first whether we had allergies or any other dietary restrictions. Parking options: Parking is unavailable Parking: If you aren't a resident in Aker Brygge, there is no way you can park there. Kid-friendliness: Yes. I saw many families with kids coming. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessibility is available for outdoor serving, and probably only in summer.
