The food is really tasty and great for the value! There is no English menu but Google translate works fine. As mentioned in other comments this place is a cross between a restaurant and izakaya (Japanese bar) and family-friendly. The service is great as they work to accommodate people with very limited Japanese language ability which we appreciate!
