Really disappointed as we had booked for a meal tonight and even had a reminder from Hanleys yesterday however when we turned up for our booking the place is shut tight!!
How does this system continue to work when it’s clearly not open. Very sad as we had a really good meal there on our previous visit to Perranporth and hence our return booking (or not as it turns out)!

Having eaten at Hanleys (2/9) on the basis of the many positive reviews I felt compelled to contribute. We (2 adults, 2 children) tried ten or so dishes. All were fairly nice without being great, other than the chilli beef which to give credit where it’s due was genuinely excellent. The service was really inattentive to be kind; two rounds of drinks and the bill teased from the bar without apology, having been left with the drinks tray from our arrival drinks and round 1 dirty plates and bowls for thirty+ minutes. The second round of tapas turned up in part - two dishes were unavailable but it was kept a surprise until those that were available were delivered so we had just too little to satisfy the kids. Delivered without plates. Plates came without cutlery. Cutlery came without a smile. All in all it felt like an opening weekend of a first restaurant.
