The Hawaiian cuisine is nice at this bbq. You can have tasty garlic chicken, garlic shrimps and beef ribs at Hapa Food Company. Good malasadas are offered to try here.
This place with takeout dishes is good for those clients who like to eat on the go. The courteous staff at this spot can demonstrate how much they value their customers. The fine service is something these restaurateurs care about. You are to be pleasantly impressed with average prices at this bbq. When inside, the atmosphere is pretty. Based on the guests' feedback on Google, Hapa Food Company deserved 4.6.

I came out to Arizona for the Aloha Festival - 3/16-17/24. As we were walking around the different venues, I spotted the Malasadas Booth. I couldn't resist ordering. The best Malasadas ever. The cashier was friendly and told us about their restaurant in Mesa. My sister and I tried going to the restaurant on Tues, but it was closed. So we tried again today. They are closed on Mondays. We ordered Kalbi and Garlic Chicken Combo. Oh my goodness, we were in heaven. Everything was perfect. The Kalbi's sauce was perfect. Not overpowering in flavor, and the Garlic Chicken was just right. Crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. The garlic seasoning was perfect. We loved the food. The Restaurant was clean. They had Hawaiian music playing in the background. The Cashier was friendly and apologized several times for letting us wait to order. She was taking orders over the phone, setting up takeouts, and so forth. She was swift and remained calm and organized. We highly recommend this restaurant if you love home-cooked Hawaiian food. So much better than L&L Hawaiian, and Ono's. Just saying.

Hands down best Hawaiian spot in AZ. I've been to many Hawaiian spots and none had Kalua pork like this one! The Mac is also just right. Most paces have the Katsu chicken which normally is dried out, but Hapa has garlic chicken that is lightly battered and is not too garlicky with a hint of sweet and so juicy. The Kalbi ribs were also amazing, thick and flavorful, unlike the thin greasy and fatty ribs you get elsewhere. The scrumptious malasadas with ube topped off our meal. It's a little pricey compared to other Hawaiian spots but so worth it. It's a 30 min drive from my house but I would for sure be coming back. I am a Haole, but I was born on Oahu. We've been back enough times that I have fallen in love with the Hawaiian culture and the Hawaiian food. Hapa Food Company is spot on with their food. I had Kalua pig and macaroni salad. Both tasted like I was back on Óahu eating lunch. My wife had the Kalbi beef and said it was amazing ! The food came up fairly quickly and was hot when it got to the table. They had one outside table so we sat outside with our dog. The atmosphere, unfortunately, was nothing special. They are in a strip type retail area so there isn't much they could do with the place to make it feel more Hawaiian. But if you are looking for delicious, authentic Hawaiian food, this is the place !
