Atmosphere is extremely homey and comfortable as soon as you walk in. My partner and I stopped during our trip through the mountains on the way to Denver, and I am so happy we did! The coffee shop is located in a vintage old town that is great to stretch your legs — and if you do, stop here for a refuel. From boba drinks to coffee, the menu was extensive for a small place and there were really good looking pastries and breakfast sandwiches in the case. Also, the cafe sells locally made mugs, honey, and other local knick knacks which was really cool. And the coffee was some of the best I’ve ever had! Great place to stop for coffee! The shop was cute and had a lot of really unique drink offerings. The Great Gats-Bee (matcha with honey) was delicious.

What a gem in the middle of a great little city! Let’s check Carbon County off of our list. Happiness Within sits right on Main Street in Helper. We loved the vibe! It was comfortable and cozy with a local feel. Our welcome wasn’t stellar, but the barista ended up being friendly. There were a lot of lattes to choose from. I loved the names. We had the Caramel Sutra with caramel, white chocolate and cinnamon. I’m glad it was half sweet. A 12 oz was close to $7.00. That’s a little higher than most shops we’ve visited. Worth a stop just to experience down town Helper. Side note: they had a little nook for coloring. Great touch. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
