My mother, a senior citizen, visited Hardee’s and ordered a biscuit and gravy along with a coffee. She had a coupon for a $1 iced coffee, and the cashier, Shiloe, acknowledged that she was using the coupon. Unfortunately, the coupon was never applied, and instead points were used. My mother didn’t realize she had been charged full price until she reviewed her receipt afterward. Thinking this would be a simple fix, I went back to the counter to request a refund for the difference of $2.49. The manager, Ash, told me there was nothing she could do because she wasn’t sure whether my mother had actually intended to use the coupon. To clarify the situation, I asked Shiloh directly if my mother had been trying to use the coupon. Shiloe confirmed that she was and apologized for the mistake. Even after the cashier confirmed the error, Ash still refused to issue the refund. She acknowledged that she had the ability to process refunds but continued to deny the request. I explained that this was clearly a mistake on Hardee’s part and that all we were asking for was the $2.49 difference. The refusal to make things right over such a small amount was disappointing. The situation became even more frustrating when I asked for the store number and the name of Ash’s supervisor. She initially provided the store’s phone number instead of the store number and hesitated before eventually giving the information requested. She also stated that her supervisor’s name was Cliff but refused to provide any contact information. What concerns me most is that this happened to a senior citizen. For many seniors living on fixed incomes, $2.49 matters. More importantly, treating customers fairly and correcting obvious mistakes should matter. Looking around the restaurant, I noticed many senior citizens dining there, which made this experience even more troubling. This entire interaction could have been resolved quickly and professionally, but instead it turned into an unnecessary dispute over a simple cashier error. The lack of accountability, customer service, and willingness to correct a mistake left a very negative impression. If you value being treated with respect, fairness, and dignity as a customer, I would not recommend this location. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $1–10 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Food and service is great, A little pricey for such normal fast food. And no Dollar Menu Items either. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30

I have going to Hardee's all over the United States for a a very long time. Great service, great food and very clean. I will be back when I'm in town. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
