I got the huevos rancheros and it came with only one egg atop a pile of basically unflavored canned beans, which were the largest component of this dish. 1 egg, beans, one tortilla chip, avocado, hot sauce and pickled onions for 20 dollars. For a fancy place it wasn't terrible but overall bland. They put us in a greenhouse they didn't turn on heat to either :( also forgot part of our order. i loved the looks of this place and left disappointed Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

Honestly, if you’re black, I wouldn’t spend any money here. The gm, don’t even remember her name, she’s not relevant enough, is very racist and equally just as insecure. I worked here back in 2021 and randomly got fired one day. She had a biracial manager in training fire me (the closest to black they could find, I guess). The other female manager was clearly caught off guard and was just asked to be in the room too. I later found out after meeting some of my previous coworkers in a bar while I was with my current coworkers that this is what she does to black women. One of the black women she fired before me was with them. If you pay attention to the black women she hires, they’re ones that she’s less likely to be intimidated by. I came in sometime last year with a friend for brunch and she was being her natural strange self. Kept walking by my table, I just laughed. Before we left, I had to use the bathroom and she happened to be sitting in one of the tables on the way. She looked startled when I walked by and wasn’t there when I got back. She’s just an insecure, temper tantrum throwing, cowardly racist. In reality, she just hates herself. I don’t blame her, I would too. I also ordered fresh fruit that day and nothing about it was fresh? Had to send it back and get better fruit. Honestly, she’s just nasty looking and acting. The nicer you are, the more tiny she feels. She’s very mentally ill. Go somewhere where people actually understand that another person’s race and class has nothing to do with their lack of self worth. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Really nice place although the night started a bit iffy with our food coming out, having no utensils and no drinks. Place was not too busy for this to have occurred. Unfortunately, our original server Nick was either new or not attentive at all BUT luckily server Sean/Shawn must-have noticed the frustration on our faces and took complete care of us. He definitely changed the entire experience we had at Harper's Garden. Thanks again Sean/Shawn. To the good part, food was good. I got myself the 'merican burger and it was really good definitely a go to place to have dinner. My fiance got the roasted chicken and it was cold. For dessert we got the apple crumb and it was delicious.
