We held a wake here to celebrate the life our my lovely friend. The staff were incredible, the lady I communicated with over email made everything seamless and easy at a difficult time. They kindly opened early for us and we were able to put our own playlist on. On top of that the food was absolutely brilliant, multiple people asked me who did the catering! The pub also has a lovely feel to it, very relaxing and nicely done with plenty of space. Thank you so much for being so helpful and kind. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Really cool pub with a community focus. It was really cool to see that they offer free meals for children during school holidays and free dog roasts! They even do discounted burgers during the week, which we took full advantage of! I loved having a whole foods plant based burger too (lentils, sweet potato and sun dried tomato) - it had such a rich flavour and a soft but crunchy texture on the outside. Really tasty! The chips were lush as well. I would’ve liked to see some more vegan options, rather than just vegan versions of meat dishes (burger, sausage and mash, or pie). But I did like seeing the vegan sausage and onion ciabatta (which I’ll be back to try at some point) and the really tasty sounding pear crumble (which I was too full to have this time). The service was really friendly too. I’ll definitely be back. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes
