michelin star restaurant btw. served us warm, pre-steeped, maybe even bottled tea. the boast authenticity but were very much not, coming from someone who’s eaten actual authentic japanese food all my life. they brought us the wrong dish, which was way more expensive than the original, and the absolute worst: the california roll was just genuinely disgusting. it was dry and used lettuce and was just overall gross. way too expensive for food that wasn’t very good. i’ve eaten better sushi at a seven eleven. should’ve known when they brought the tea. the only good thing was the atmosphere. if you want actually good sushi go to the other place down the street, daruma they were incredibly friendly and the food was delicious. Price per person: €40–50 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
