The interior of Hashidate Chaya

The walk with a view of Chion-ji Temple is what you can expect after dining at this restaurant. Japanese cuisine is served at Hashidate Chaya. It's time to try nicely cooked mussels, clam soup and porridge. This place provides tasty ice cream. A lot of visitors order delicious tea.

The good staff welcomes people all year round. Prompt service is something guests appreciate here. Expect the homey atmosphere at this spot. But most visitors who use Google didn't give this restaurant a high rating.

Must try clam udon (Asari udon)! Very simple but delicate. I also love the dango :) Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We stopped by a restaurant, Hashidate Chaya, and deduced that clams might be the local specialty, so we all opted for clam udon. We counted them; each of us had 11 clams, the soup was super fresh and umami but I thought the udon wasn't as good as those I had before in Kyoto and Osaka.
