Japanese food is worth a try here. The positive aspect of this restaurant is that the staff is terrific. 4.2 is what Hatomi received from the Google rating system.

The owner turned us away holding a sign saying they serve drinks only and asked us to find other restaurant. Not welcoming at all !

What a little gem. We had the best evening sitting at the bar between two locals. The owner was so friendly and used Google translate to chat all night. His wife / chef is a delightful firecracker of a lady. She fed us so much food and everything was totally delicious. The miso eggplant was divine. I could have eaten plates of it. At the end she drank sake with us and we laughed so much. Our hearts and bellies were full. At a great price. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

雪の中、暖かく迎えてくれました。 料理上手の奥さんの料理は絶品です。 お店は、バーを思わせるカウンターに、掘りごたつもあり子供連れにも喜ばれる雰囲気です。お皿はお父さんが30年かけて収集したこだわりの食器を使っていて、地物の料理がとても美味しく、温かい雰囲気です。 富士山の近くで飲むギネスビールもまた、格別でした。 ナスの炒め物は彩り最高で、味しみしみで最高です、隠し味は取り寄せたスペシャル味噌。 玉ねぎソーセージは、二ノ岡フーズの本物のハムを使って、旨み抜群。 奥さんの撮った写真、富士山の幻の滝も一見の価値あり。 締めの、チャーハンはオニオンの旨みを最高に引き出した一皿でした。 また、ご主人と奥さんに元気を貰いにきます。 We were warmly welcomed in the snow. The fried rice we finished off with brought out the best flavor of the onion. I will come back to get some energy from the husband and wife.
