While studying in Rome during the 2014 World Cup we frequented this wonderful bar/restaurant. The food was excellent, the drinks were too...and so were the people. We watched several matches there and had a great time! I highly recommend this place to anyone going to Rome and wish I could be there again this summer with fellow students from Houston's University of St. Thomas.

I came to Hausgarten in the hopes of finding a decent bagel. There was none to be found. Let me premise that I have very very high bagel standards (fugghedaboudit), but you can't pitch me about having the best bagels and then come up way short. In their defence it pretty good round bread with a hole in the middle, but "oy vey" don't call it a bagel. I ended up ordering a burger just to stave off my hunger. Nice place, otherwise, and eager staff, although we had the misfortune of being guinea pigs on our waitresses first day on the job (I think it was her first day ever trying to waitress). I'll probably have to give them another chance and just skip the bagel part.

Mi sono presentato da Hausgarten con la speranza di trovarci un buon bagel. Ahimè nemmeno l'ombra. Premetto che i miei standard per bagels sono stratosferici, ma non mi puoi vendere il locale come il miglior bagel che ci sia a Roma e poi deludermi così. Per carità fanno un pane con buco in mezzo ottimo, ma ti prego di non chiamarlo un bagel. Alla fine mi sono dovuto ordinare un hamburger per tirarmi su di morale. Il locale è molto carino e se non fosse stato anche per il fatto che eravamo le cavie di una nuova cameriere direi che l'esperienza sarebbe stata ottima. Mi sa che dovrei almeno tornarci una volta evitando la parola bagel per vedere cos'altro c'è di buono.
