Last night, I visited Haveli Restaurant with a large group of friends and family to celebrate a friend birthday and we had a really wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, which made it a great place for a special celebration. The food was genuinely very good. We ordered a variety of dishes, and everything we tried was flavorful, fresh, and well prepared. It was clear that care had gone into both the taste and presentation of the meals. Everyone in our group enjoyed the food, and there was something for everyone to enjoy. One thing we really appreciated was the pricing. Considering the quality of the food, the portion sizes, and the overall dining experience, the prices were very reasonable. It is not always easy to find a restaurant that offers both good food and fair pricing, but Haveli managed to do both very well. The staff were also very friendly, polite, and attentive throughout the evening. Even though we were a big group celebrating birthdays, they handled everything smoothly and made sure we were comfortable. Their hospitality added a lot to the experience and helped make the night feel even more special. Overall, we had a fantastic time at Haveli Restaurant. The combination of delicious food, reasonable prices, friendly staff, and a pleasant atmosphere made it a memorable birthday celebration for all of us. I would definitely recommend Haveli to anyone looking for a good place to dine with family or friends, especially for group celebrations and special occasions. We truly enjoyed our evening and would be happy to visit again in the future. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $200+

Good Evening, We are regular customers as we live nearby and visit your restaurant frequently. Firstly, I would like to acknowledge the staff who took our order. She is always friendly, welcoming, and greets customers with a smile and respect. She consistently provides excellent customer service and is a credit to your business. Unfortunately, our experience with the rest of the front-of-house team has been quite different. Most staff members appear disengaged, rarely smile, and seldom acknowledge customers. We have noticed on several visits that staff seem completely focused on resetting tables as soon as they become available, even when customers are trying to get their attention. It often feels as though setting up tables takes priority over serving the guests already seated in the restaurant. During our most recent visit, we ordered Punjabi Chicken, Dal Tarka, and Raita. The food was delivered to our table, but the staff member simply placed it down and walked away without checking whether everything had arrived correctly or asking if we needed anything else. The food itself was excellent. The flavours were outstanding, and it is clear your chefs have a great understanding of Indian cuisine. However, while the chicken gravy was hot, the tandoori chicken pieces within the curry were cold, suggesting they had not been cooked long enough in the sauce to heat through properly. In addition, the Raita never arrived. The most frustrating part was that we were unable to raise these concerns because no staff member checked on us, and it was extremely difficult to make eye contact with anyone. By the time we eventually managed to get someone’s attention, we had already finished eating. Rather than creating a scene, I chose to take the remaining chicken home and reheat it myself. When we went to pay, we advised the lady at the counter that the Raita had never been served. She promptly removed it from the bill, which we appreciated, and we happily paid the remainder. However, there appeared to be little interest in understanding how the mistake occurred or whether there had been any issues with our dining experience. What stands out to us is that your kitchen clearly has immense talent and delivers food with passion and consistency. Unfortunately, that same level of enthusiasm is not reflected in the front-of-house service. We would appreciate it if additional training could be provided to the front-of-house team, particularly around customer engagement, checking on tables after food is served, and maintaining awareness of customers who may require assistance. We provide this feedback because we genuinely enjoy your food and would like to see the overall dining experience match the quality coming out of the kitchen. Exceptional food and a great overall experience at a very reasonable price. The quality of the dishes and service really stood out. One area for improvement would be the menu currently, it doesn’t provide any allergen information. Adding a clear allergen guide would make the dining experience even better and more inclusive for customers with dietary requirements.
