The owner was so welcoming and kind. We can in a big group like 10 or 15 people and she still cook and make us all of our food . Food was delicious best one I had while staying in Portland for my Church conference. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This place truly is amazing. Great food with nice flavors and choices accompanied by wonderful customer service. I didn't know what to expect because a lot of the Hawaiian food in Portland can be hit or miss. However, I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant all around. The decor inside was also super cute. I got a medium plate (rice, protein, choice of side) and a drink for only $13, which I feel is very modest by today's standards. Overall would highly recommend if you're in the area and looking for yummy food that doesn't break the bank. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Pulled Pork

I recently catered with Hawaiian Express and they were great to work with! I had an unexpected team order go from 8 people to 30! They were able to accommodate me with 36 hours of heads up. Every plate at the team meeting was clean and everyone went for seconds. Excellent service and even better food! The team is excited for our next team session Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
