My favourite city in Ethiopia so far. From the national park to the downtown shopping to the lake and boat rides with views of hippos, eagles and birds of all kinds to hyenas in the park at dusk. Hawassa has a beach town vibe, it’s hot but breezy at night. This is my happy place.
