We had a fantastic night! None of the photo’s in the reviews truly capture how absolutely beautiful and majestic this place looks in person, the interior is stunning with perfect dimmed light, like you’re in a movie set. The staff was wonderful and of course our food was amazing. Expensive but worth it. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Steaks were OK, salat was so-so, good atmosphere, waiter received the suggested tip of 12,5% but still tried to give us a change using old Pound coin (not valid anymore), probably because we were tourists Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

We visited Hawksmoor Edinburgh after having a meal at Hawksmoor NYC the night my now fiancé proposed to me. We had such a wonderful experience in New York we had to visit the Edinburgh restaurant. We had a table for 5 o’clock which is when they reopen for dinner so it was very quiet when we arrived, we were sat in a separate closed off section from the main restaurant area which was lovely, however as time went on the restaurant filled up and there wasn’t a spare seat by time we left. The service was great, our waitress was friendly and we were taken care of very well. I wanted to start my meal with some olives which they don’t have on their menu but our waitress was kind enough to ask the bar for some and they were presented to me beautifully! The food and wine were great too. It is expensive but worth a visit. We were then lucky enough to get some seats at the bar after dinner & our friends joined us for a drink before we left. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
