One of my favorite vineyards I ever been to. The wine was AMAZING. I never enjoyed such lovely wine. The view there is also really nice. Staff were friendly, this place is great. I would come here again

Hawthorne Vineyards was the last stop late in a long day of wine tasting on the Mission Peninsula. Thank goodness we made the stop, since it turned out to be the best one by far. While a bit off the beaten path, you’ll find Hawthorne to be a charming and peaceful setting that will make you want to stay and relax for some time. Their wines were delicious, the selection of wines was terrific, and cost wise it was the most reasonable of all the tastings we did. But the best part of the stop was our host Lauri, who was extremely engaging, personable, and very knowledgeable about the wines she was serving. We’re so glad we stopped, and will not hesitate to return next time we’re in the area.
