Fantastic hidden find. Awesome owner, incredibly friendly locals who are easy to chat to, and the food is delish. Vibes are immaculate! Wish we'd discovered this place on our first night in Kyoto and not on our last few nights!!

Having lived in this neighborhood for two years, it was impossible for us to pass He if we were going out for food or drinks. The bar master took care of us and the other patrons are incredibly friendly. Cold beer, hot food, and a fun standing bar environment!
