This location is not closed. It moved to 2304 South Boston Road, Danville VA 24541 The food is very good and the owner is extremely friendly.

This place is the kind of Greasy Spoon Diner that I am always on the lookout for and absolutely Love. I had the day off and since there are no places in Roxboro for breakfast on a Sunday, that don't have a drive-thru, I went to Danville. My smiling waitress Lena was very friendly, personable, and had a cup of coffee almost to the table before I sat down. The place was small with limited seating. Looked like about 4 half booths, 6 or 7 full booths, a few tables, and maybe a dozen or so bar stools. I'd recommend beating the rush that's for sure. I ordered the Country Fried Steak and Eggs with Hash Browns (w/Onions) Whole Wheat Toast and a Side of Country Ham. They gave the option to top the steak with Sausage gravy or Brown gravy. I enjoyed the food, the people, the atmosphere, and I left stuffed. The Heart Line Restaurant was well worth the trip and I just might make it again next Sunday. Highly recommended.
