To start off, they don’t allow: - taking pictures - using your laptop - staying too long (1.5 hour limit) Cons: - It was really pricey for what it was. 1900 for pour over and a croque monsieur. - The croque monsieur was not the best. They used thin milk toast, with a thin slice of ham, a bit of béchamel sauce, and mozzarella cheese. It felt very underwhelming for 1200. Understandable if the ingredients were betterbut the quality just wasn’t there. - Limited food menu (croque monsieur, purin, and cheesecake only) Pros: - The coffee was pricey, but I enjoyed roasted flavor. They did take their time to warm the cup and pour the coffee. - Solid, classical music choice with pretty good sound quality. - Wonderful atmosphere (dimly lit, clean, a dark academics wonderland) Overall, if your goal is to find place to read and enjoy a cup of coffee with Murakami vibes (sans smoking) then this is your spot.
