We stopped in for lunch while working down the road and ordered a meat lovers pizza to share. We chose to sit outside, but had to move some dirty dishes from our table ourselves, all while a staff member stood nearby on his phone. Unfortunately, the pizza was very disappointing. It had minimal toppings, with some rocket thrown on top, and overall lacked any real care or quality — I could have made better myself. We also ordered three beers, but the selection was extremely limited, with most options unavailable. All around, the experience was poor. The atmosphere wasn’t great, and the food quality was well below expectations. Hopefully, the owner sees this and makes some much-needed improvements. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Thank you for taking the time to visit us and we are sorry to hear you didn’t have a good time. The meat lovers pizza doesn’t have any rocket or greenery on it, it sounds like you may have had a prosciutto pizza - and it does look ‘empty’ compared to the meat lovers. Sometimes after our peaks our wonderful staff have to rush around to clear the tables. We have 12 beers on tap - a mix of mainstream and craft along with great options in the fridge. If you can email us on hello@monkeyfarm.co.nz and give an idea of date/time you visited then we can have a look more into why you felt other areas let you down. Hopefully we’ll hear from you soon.

Was super excited to try the café after it went back to Monkeyfarm, and it did not disappoint! Went by tonight, and had the most delicious, very thin crust, tasty tasty pizza. Great selection of beers, really good service, and so thrilled that we have this on our back doorstep in Northlake. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
