Food was sooo goodd. My friend and I ordered the Beef Quesabirria and it was really flavourful and filling. I came here for my birthday and the staff were really accomodating and friendly (especially the woman with the NZ accent). Another friend of mine was really happy to see there are many GF options at the restaurant as well! Thank you! I will definitely be back! Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I had an amazing experience at Sam’s Mexican Food! The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavour, fresh ingredients, generous portions, and everything tasted authentic and perfectly seasoned. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick without feeling rushed. The vibe is relaxed and great for both casual dinners and takeaway. Sam's Cali Cantina was one of the best restaurants I've been to in a long time! The food here was amazing, I highly recommend the hot honey chicken burger, and the taco platter on taco tuesday is great value and delicious. There aren't a lot of mexican/texmex inspired restaurants in melbourne (at least not that I know of) and Sam's Cantina is a great change of pace from the usual pub feed or pizza. The food is really tasty, chips and sweet potato chips were great, and portions were generous. The cocktails are also great. The staff were attentive and nice. The ambiance here really surprised me, it's got a great vibe. This is a good spot for a date night or with friends, and in a great location. If you're driving you can park under the Woolies/ Big W and it's free if you buy anything. I will definitely be back!
