I strongly advise against visiting Hemingway restaurant. I went there with my grandma, and shortly after our meal, we both got terrible stomach aches. My grandma ordered the schnitzel, while I had the tomato cream soup and a tuna salad. The food was a disaster. The schnitzel was horribly prepared – it had a few decent, fatty pieces, but the rest was terribly hard and completely raw. The tomato soup tasted exactly like ketchup mixed with water, and the tuna salad looked worse than wet dog food. To make matters worse, we now have to go get tested for Salmonella because we've been dealing with severe diarrhea and vomiting for a week. Avoid this place at all costs! AVOID AT ALL COST. we were encouraged in under false pretentious to what was a dreadful experience. We waited 20 minutes for garlic bread then a following 10 for chicken wings and a following 10 for our chips as the waiter forgot to order them. The wings had more grizzle and fat than actual chicken. We were then encouraged to move table due to the weather. We waited for 20 minutes as multiple workers walked past us glancing at our table and empty glasses. We stopped a lady and asked to order drinks which she responded 'i'm not your server' then she walked away and lit up a cigarette (looked to be family of the owner) Eventually we stopped another one of the workers and he was unimpressed to be taking an order to say the least. Ripped leather seats, stained table cloths and people smoking INSIDE including the owner, highly inappropriate and not up to the high standard we were promised at the door. Don't let the friendly faced kind man usher you in to this dump. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €10–15 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
