My wives chicken Ceasar sandwich was very good per her. My bison burger was medium rare instead of medium. I would have sent it back, but it took so long to begin with. My fries were not very good, greasy and burnt taste. Drinks took a very long time. My wife ordered a second beer and it took at least 10-15 minutes, even though keg needed changing out, way too long. Bartender was extremely slow, as I watched several people at the bar get very irritated and waited a long time. Hemingway's used to be so amazing. Sad. They need to up the staff trainings or get people wanting to work. We were there at 1:30. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30

We had a really good experience at Hemingway’s inside Bass Pro in Springfield. The atmosphere was unique and relaxing, especially with the aquarium and outdoor theme throughout the restaurant. The food was pretty good overall, and the service was friendly and attentive. Everything came out fresh, portions were solid, and it was a nice place to sit down and unwind after walking around Bass Pro. I’d give it about an 8/10 overall and would definitely go back again when we’re in the area. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Took my family on vacation and we stopped in for lunch. What a great experience service was hands down amazing. The food was amazing promptly to the table fresh and well cooked.
