Guests at JW... walked in to get some chocolate mousse to go. The lady at the front was not super friendly until AFTER we tipped. 15 bucks for the mousse... 10 dollar tip (felt guilty because it was so empty) A good MAYBE couple ounces of chocolate mousse, covered with.... ??? Now I know why they were so empty.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We typically do not offer this dessert to go, as it can melt and does not travel or present well. Our team should have explained this and offered you a better alternative. We clearly dropped the ball, both in the service and the final product, and we would appreciate the opportunity to make it right. Please contact us directly at Inquiry@HenriettaChicago.com so we can follow up with you personally.

My wife and I stopped into Henrietta’s for a quick bite prior to a CSO Jazz concert. The food (king Salmon, Louie Salad) was excellent. Both the Shrimp and Beef Empanada appetizers were flavorful and freshly prepared. The Chef appears to have excellent command of flavor, texture and presentation. The wait staff is knowledgeable and helpful. The service was impeccable and the Hostess was friendly, professional and informative. This was a Tuesday early evening and the bar area was filling up with hotel guests and the after work crowd. I’ll add this to my list of places to dine before a concert and I look forward to trying more of the food here. Price per person: $60–70 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Thank you for such a thoughtful review! We’re so glad the salmon, Louie Salad, empanadas, and service all made for a memorable pre-concert dinner. We’ve also just launched a new happy hour menu, perfect for an early bite and cocktails before the next Jazz performance. We look forward to welcoming you back!
