Being Armenian, I know good Kebab when I taste it, and this was nothing short of exceptional. Herand himself is at the restaurant every day and shows his love for food in his preparation and execution. I ordered the boneless chicken plate and a side skewer of the beef koobideh and it was amazing. I encourage everyone to come here if you are in the mood for some excellent mediterranean food. I decided to stop in for lunch on a whim. I hadn’t been here before but I’d heard good things and I had a craving for Mediterranean food. I ordered the boneless chicken, which came with rice, bread, and vegetables. It was so tasty! The chicken was cooked just right and the grilled tomatoes were soft and sweet. The barberries on the rice was the cherry on top! The restaurant was very clean, attractive, and inviting. The owner came over to my table after I finished to ask how I liked my food and to chat a little. He was so kind and I got the impression that he really puts his heart into the food he cooks. The restaurant was a bit tucked away so I wouldn’t have noticed it without word of mouth. That’s why I’m writing here. I don’t want y’all to miss this gem! This time I came alone for a quick workday lunch, but I’m excited to come back with friends for a glass of wine! I didn’t take a picture because I immediately cleaned my plate… sorry! After 6 months, i was finally able to try a local gem, Herand's Kitchen, and he did not disappoint. The food is delicious - he options in wine were amazing and atmosphere we so nice. The owner was so pleasant, food knowledgeable and alot of fun. Super excited to have good food walking distance in the neighborhood.
