We were running out of gas on the LIE and looking for some hot tea when we chanced upon a culinary oasis called Herb&Olive packed with artisanal Greek cuisine to stay or go. Eileen said it was the best spanakopita she ever tasted. We were delightfully served by Stella, Zoya and George the owner who urged me to try their ambrosial fruit based vinegar. I was glad he did. We came away with excellent olive oil, homemade pastry, organic tahini and some lovely vinegar. They have an intriguing menu for lunch and dinner. Can't wait to go back. The interior is beautifully designed with soaring ceilings. As they say in Chios where George and Stella are from, Poli Kala and then some. First time coming here and George made the experience INCREDIBLE! Everything was delicious especially their yogurt and galaktoboureko. Make sure to ask for the Mastiqua lemonade! We will now be planning a summer vacation to George’s home island in Greece :)) Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

There is nothing not to like about this place. This is my second time coming here, and honeatly this is the only place where i enjoy the food since i moved to the states. I ordered grilled vegetables, lemon patatoes, and the steak can’t tell which was more delicious. The vegetables i have tried in other greek restaurants but this one beats all. After dinner we had galaktoboureko i did not tried it but my daughter said it was amazing. Jorgos the guy who served us brought us some yougurt with honey as a treat from the restaurant. He is very kind and very professional. Will come back many , many times. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
