Herons was spectacular. The food, the service, and again the food. My gosh Glaziala was superb. She is a beautiful person inside and out. Her smile helped me transition through every breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. She was so welcoming, it felt like I'd known her forever. Adam needs to be studied because he remembers my order from the day prior and that was amazing. He was very personable and sweet. Lanita was so sweet and spot on with food and recommendations and she was very sweet and made the experience that much better. The food, the drinks, the views is something that everyone needs to experience once in their lives. I've been to plenty of restaurants (Michelin included) but hands down, the BEST experience so far. The service the dimly lit area which makes the color of the plates and food pop out was a beautiful noteworthy detail. Everything from the nature themes and art was true beautiful. My warmest regards to the chef and the staff at Herons. Five-star prices for five-bite portions. Every dish was comically tiny, wildly overpriced, and somehow still managed to taste awful. The plate had more empty space than food—and honestly, the empty space was the best part. I left hungry, disappointed, and considerably poorer. Fine dining shouldn’t feel like an expensive prank.
