We discovered Hey Cafe through Google Maps and decided to visit for dinner. The café has a cosy and comfortable atmosphere, with air-conditioned indoor seating that makes it suitable for casual dining, chatting with friends or a relaxed family meal. The lighting and wooden tables give the place a warm and modern café feel. One pleasant surprise was the Shizuokaa Matcha drink (RM15). The drink arrived with a beautifully designed cat latte art on top, which immediately caught everyone’sattention. It was cute, creative and definitely Instagram-worthy. We also ordered the Oriental Beauty tea (RM15), served in a double-wall glass teacup that looked elegant and helped retain the heat. For food, we tried several dishes including the Gym Buddy Favourite (RM25), Lemon Butter Chicken Breast (RM25), Mushroom Melt Chicken Chop (RM25) and Chicken Meatballs Bolognese pasta (RM23). Presentation-wise, the dishes looked appealing and portions were reasonable for the price. The salad and sides also added colour to the plates. However, while the food looked promising at first glance, the flavours and finer details were not particularly memorable. The taste was acceptable, but it lacked the depth or uniqueness that would make us specifically crave a return visit. The café also offers lunch sets during weekdays, suitable for those looking for an affordable and convenient option during working hours.
